hey, ive just turned 17 and i have never been happy with how i look; which resulted in rare occasions of binge eating (due to bad emotions i am guessing).
however, recently things seemed to have got more difficult in my life at the moment and my binge eating has gone to a whole new level; compulsive eating.
i am now really struggling to stop eating vast amounts of 'bad' foods all in one go.
ive put on alot of weight recently because of this aswell, which is really getting me down.
i just wanted to talk to others with the same problem as me, to see what tips they have and what not.
help?

I used to be self-consicious too, in fact I still am really but you have to learn to accept who you are. Even if you don't like what you look like there isn't really anything you can do about it.
Binge eating isn't going help you emotionally or physically so I suggest trying to stop it straight away. Try eating more fruit and veg and, it may sound strange, but get out into the sun more (if there is any) because sunlight does make you feel better.
Cut out snacks in between meals and when you have meals make sure that they have enough protein, vitamins, fibre etc.
If you eat healthily than it should in time help you to feel better emotionally.

if you're hungry and you wanna eat, you should probably go and munch on some fruits or healty stuff.. so you're satisfying yourself, but eating healty at the same time..

i dont even know if what i said made sense ..
